Makenna Keyek '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Makenna Keyek and I live in Steamboat Springs,  Colorado.  I have been playing competitive lacrosse since I was in 8th grade and I am currently a Senior in high school.  I play both defense and midfield, but lately have been focusing more on defense.  During my junior year of high school, I received 2nd team all conference for defense, and as a  sophomore, I received honorable mention.   Since my  freshman year, I have been a varsity player and a starter since my sophomore year.   Outside of playing lacrosse competitively, I enjoy helping with the middle and elementary school girls lacrosse program.  This sport is a big part of my life and I hope to continue playing for a long time. I have a 3.35 GPA and work hard on my studies.  I would love to have the opportunity to continue playing lacrosse in college and gain more skills and experience.  I have lived in Colorado my whole life and now I would like to experience living somewhere else , expand my horizons and play more lacrosse.
