Catalina Montero-Wein '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Catalina Montero-Wein. I am a junior in the engineering program at Suncoast High School. I started playing lacrosse in small clinics and recreational teams in 6th grade, and once reaching high school, completely fell in love with the sport. I am a hard-working and diligent person, as well as a fast learner. I pride myself on my ability to absorb information quickly and execute tasks on my own, as well as teaching and helping others. I am a team-player and love being able to help and contribute to my team as much as possible. I am currently a junior captain on my high school team, and have thoroughly enjoyed playing for the team and getting to aid new players in growing and developing their skills. I intend to remain involved in the sport well into my adult life, whether it be through coaching or playing, and would love the opportunity to play in college. If selected to join a program, I would continue to show dedication, a strong work ethic, an open mind, and a positive attitude.
