I've been playing lacrosse for four years, and balanced a vigorous course schedule, clubs, and full commitment to lacrosse. I've always been an athletic kid, and grew up in ballet, soccer, basketball, tennis, and have always enjoyed being active outside. I first started playing because I was inspired by my brother who played throughout middle and high school, and my mother who grew up playing the game in Maryland. I've been so lucky to find such an amazing community within lacrosse, even if the sport is only slowly growing in our Northwest bubble, I'm so grateful to have to opportunity to play with such and amazing group of women and such experienced and passionate coaches. I'm very dedicated to my personal skills/growth alongside the growth and cohesiveness of my team. I spent my freshman season captaining my junior varsity team who placed 3rd in state, then joined the starting lineup on varsity sophomore year whom placed 1st in state. Now I’ve just finished my junior season where I captained my varsity team, and won state! I was selected to join the nationals team and will be playing for timberline black throughout my summer and fall. Lacrosse forces me to seriously work and grow, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
