My name is Ella Marschitz, I’m currently a senior in high school and have been playing lacrosse for 6 years. I have always enrolled myself in all honors and AP classes because I like the challenge and not taking the easy way out. I never give up, I take criticism well, and never stop working towards my goals. I grew up being a multi-sport athlete; when I was in 6th grade I started playing lacrosse, and I knew right then that it was my sport. Lacrosse helps me escape all of my problems, and it gives me a reason to focus on what’s important. During my freshman year of High School, I was a varsity starter and had the highest 8-meter percentage on my team. I am very driven to put in extra hours practicing to improve my agility, strength, endurance, stick skills, and overall fitness. I am currently taking Strength and Performance in my high school for gym class and have daily workouts that I complete. When I am not playing lacrosse, I am working hard, focusing academically, giving back to my community, or spending time with my family and friends. I am very hopeful for what the future has in store for me, and I am willing to outwork all other competition to get to where I want to be.
