Kelsea Lawson '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a year 11 student at Immanuel College, Adelaide, and will be graduating high school in 2023. I have been playing lacrosse since I was four years old, and am a right-handed midfielder from Glenelg Lacrosse Club in Adelaide, South Australia. I intend to continue both my academic and lacrosse pursuits through involvement in the college program.

I am a hard-working, diligent midfielder, who is very dedicated to all areas of training and personal improvement. I participate in multiple club training sessions per week, as well as regular individual running, stick skills, and speed coaching.

I am confident in using both left and right hands, which makes me a valuable asset at both ends of the field. I am a dominant attacker, being able to create opportunities for my teammates off-ball, as well as having a strong dodge and drive. I am also a strong presence in defence, being able to confidently control the opposition.

My skills, speed and lacrosse IQ has led me to being selected in U15 and U18 state teams and receiving MVP awards in these tournaments, as well as being selected as a member of the U18 Australian All-Star team in 2022. I am also a 6-time Best and Fairest award recipient at Glenelg Lacrosse Club.
