Chloe Connors 23'...Personal Statement
I am a 16 year old student-athlete attending Triton Regional High School in Newbury, Massachusetts. I have been playing organized lacrosse for 9 years and I have been playing club lacrosse for 5 of those years. Though I am a multi-sport athlete my passion is for lacrosse. I am looking forward to participating with my high school team as well as continuing my club experience with aspirations of competing at a high collegiate level.
I believe that being successful in the sport I love is equally as important as my academics. As a Sophomore I maintain a 4.1 weighted GPA, and take all honors courses. My teachers reflect that I have a hard work ethic and leadership skills. These characteristics translate easily to my play of game. As a player, I believe that teamwork is key, my ability to see the field and orchestrate plays is an asset to my teams success.
A few highlights of my lacrosse career so far:
- 1st team CAL All-Star 2021 HS Season
- Articles from local paper 2021 HS Season:
- - Invited to play on the 2023 3D National Team at Winter Vengeance in Tampa Florida January 2021
- - Selected to participate in the Under Armor 150 Premier Girls Lacrosse Showcase (Summer 2020) [Shot speed ranked in the top 10 and Medicine ball throw in the top 20]
-Played at the US National Lacrosse Tournament represent the 3D National Team, (8th grade going into freshman year) Summer 2019
I look forward to continuing my lacrosse career at a high level while sustaining a focus on my academics.
