Janie Mitter '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a draw specialist and midfielder from Howell Michigan. I have been playing lacrosse since the end of eighth grade and within that time I have fallen in love with everything about the sport and lacrosse family atmosphere. My first full season playing, I was a starter for Howell Varsity. 

I am excited about the opportunity to bring my dedication and skills to your lacrosse program while continuing to succeed in my academics. I am a team player on and off the field. I love supporting my teammates and cheering them on with their achievements. During games and practices I maintain a positive outlook and put in 100% effort. I never give up and strive to get better everyday.

I work hard year round on my lacrosse skills, participating in Cyclones Lacrosse, my club team, as well as condition and lift in the weight room, all which I believe contribute to my athleticism. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA, receiving High Honors from my school. I also volunteer in my school district's youth lacrosse camps. 

    I want to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and make my parents and coaches proud. 

With determination, a passion to succeed, and a strong desire to make a positive impact, I am confident that I will thrive both on and off the field.
