Mia Okaro '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mia and I’m a new transfer at Winslow township high school. I started playing lacrosse as a sophomore but due to covid our season was canceled. To make up for lost time I had a strong junior season. As a started on varsity I played full game with half of the game  on the field and the other in goal. In goal I have had over 120 saves in one season and a career high of 27 saves in one game. On defense I am very verbal and call out what I see. I enjoy playing offensive as well and running plays. In the classroom I am a good student with a overall 3.8 unweighted gpa. I’m looking forward to playing lacrosse in college and excited to embrace new opportunities that come my way.
