Hayley Henderson '22 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for looking at my Recruiting Profile, as for my Bio, I can confidently say that I am an ambitious, dedicated, passionate, coachable, strong, smart, hard working, and focused young athlete. I love playing lacrosse “For the Love of the Game” and have become very passionate about lacrosse since I was in the 5th Grade. I find that when playing lacrosse it takes me to another place of enjoyment and also brings out my competitiveness.

I am now in my Junior year of high school and I'm continuing to step up my game to beat my past year's goals and surpass my own expectations. My goals for High School academically are to become a well rounded educated student and to remain in the National Honor Society and be a leader inside and outside of the classroom. As for my goals in athletics in high school, I will be looking to prepare myself for the next level which is continuing playing lacrosse in college. I am determined to improve my skills on the field by giving my full effort year round during practices, workouts, and throughout the seasons to get me ready for the collegiate level. I am determined to become a stronger leader on the field and a well rounded team player. I also have another goal of making the USA Women’s Lacrosse Team and one day play in the Olympics for Women's Lacrosse.

A really big drive in my life that gives me the determination and drive to become the best I can ever be, is not being able to know or meet my Mom. In 2005, my Mom passed away from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was around 15 months old. It makes me want to be the best I can be for her, so I’ve always put 110% effort into everything I do from academics, athletics, and the real world. This is also what makes me want to pursue a career in the Medical Field. One day, hopefully a cure for Cancer will be found. As for now, I can’t ponder on the past and I won’t because  you can only strive to make a brighter and better future and that is what I look to do.
