Julia Driscoll '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Julia Driscoll. I have played lacrosse since 2nd grade in Kinnelon, New Jersey, and I play at the club level for Triple Threat Elite North 2024. I am also a player on the JV Ice Hockey Boys Team for Winter 2022-2023.

I am a writer in both the creative and informative fields. In my high school academic career, I am a member of the National Junior Honors Society and have made the honor roll in my school. I am a member of many clubs including, the Colt Chronicle, Colts for Kids, Varsity Club, and the Feedback Club. I joined the Feedback and the Colt Chronicle not only to improve my writing but to also exercise it outside of English Class. The other two clubs are charity clubs, with Colts for Kids working with and offering services for the children in my town, and Varsity Club helping out the athletic department of my school. I have also participated in the HS drama productions Freshman and Sophomore year and the HS musical productions in my Freshman and Sophomore years and the upcoming production this March.

In lacrosse, I am a team player who respects my coaches and teammates.  I am a quick learner and am always looking to improve my game. On the field, as a defender, I make sure to be vocal about where the ball is and if I got the other defender's slide or help. I am aggressive in retrieving groundballs and looking to make the interception or turnover. My other strengths are my speed and my ability to read where the attacker will be going or who they will look to pass to. I look forward to continuing my lacrosse career on the college level.
