Being part of a team has taught me so much about myself and the person and player I strive to be both on and off the field. It has taught me the importance of leadership and respect. It has taught me about the need to be accountable and committed. The importance of working together toward a common goal is reinforced every day. I know these lessons will serve me well. Being an athlete has reinforced my belief that success on the field is obtained the same way as success off the field - through dedication, hard work and passion.
