In college I hope to continue my Lacrosse career. It has always helped me remain stress-free and happy while keeping me in shape. Besides that I truly do love to play and have for the past 7 years. My family has lived and breathed lacrosse for those years and I cant see us changing that any time soon. I think what makes me different is my knowledge of the game. While for the majority of my time playing I have been trained as only a low defender and to take one on ones, I have a good understanding of all the positions. Last summer I played at center mid, at the draw, this taught me a lot about the other positions. On top of that I have a willingness to learn and get better. the last couple years me and my teammates have struggled with poor coaching and team placement and we have come out better players. I have grown from the adversity I faced on my school and club teams and I think I have grown immensely because of it and want to continue to grow. I hope to study Journalism in college to hopefully get a job traveling and writing about the events taking place in our world. While science is not my best subject, I find it very interesting and took a course called Science Research where I learned about reading and annotating scientific journal articles. This could give me an upper hand on other young writers because I have a background in the research side of journalism.
