My lacrosse career started in seventh grade when I tried out for the school team. I had seen my family play the game as a spectator, once I fell in love with the speed of the game. I knew this is what I wanted for my future. My coach helped me find my passion to be a defensive player. I started lacrosse at an older age versing girls that started at a younger age. It was the thought of being at a disadvantage that at this moment I decided that I would work harder than ever before. Hard work and dedication would be used. In this time I played three other sports as well as balancing honor classes. With also participating in District Wide as a cellist. During the year of 2019, I joined the Brookhaven Bandits as a way to increase my skills.
All this work and time management balancing all these extracurriculars prepared me for the high school level. As well as a lesson of sacrifice. I understood in order for my devotion of the game to expand, there would be sacrifices needed. I’m looking for a program that I can flourish in my academic interests as well as being a team player.
