Although I have not played lacrosse my whole life like many other athletes, I work just as hard if not harder than those athletes. I joined lacrosse as a sophomore, never having picked up a stick before. By working hard not only at practice but in my small amount of free time, I went from barely understanding the game to a varsity player by the end of the season. In addition to lacrosse, I am able to balance multiple extracurricular activities, other sports, and most importantly volunteering. I am a member of Archbishop Hoban’s Mock Trial team, Model UN team, and Campus Ministry group. During the summer, fall, and winter I am a cheerleader for Hoban’s football and basketball teams as well as Hoban’s competition cheer team. When I am not busy with lacrosse, cheer, or any other activities, I like to spend my time volunteering at a Down Syndrome Achievement Center near my house. Personally, I feel like my strong work ethic and motivational personality in addition to my lacrosse skills would make my a great player on your team!
