Maria Sasaran '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maria Sasaran and I am a junior at Wilson High School from Reading Pennsylvania. I started playing lacrosse when I was 12 after moving here from Romania. This sport was so foreign to me but I was ambitious to start learning.  Deciding to be a goalie was simply due to the experience I had from other sports I played earlier. Since then, I’ve been working hard to accomplish my goals on the field alongside at school.  The cage is a very special place to me and although it sounds ironic, it feels like my safe space where I can let everything out. I am very hard working and cooperative as everyday I strive to do better on and off the field.
