Gwendolyn Shaver '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am super excited to go to college and would love to be on a lacrosse team at whichever school I end up at, whether it is club or competitive. I have loved the sport since I first started playing 10 years ago. It has always been one of my top priorities and I put 110% of my effort into bettering myself everyday whether its against a brick wall, with friends, or at my off season pick-up league. I try to play year round so I don't get rusty and love playing against and with those who are at a higher level than me. I love helping out the JV girls on our team just as much as I love learning from coaches. I would be more than thankful for an opportunity be taught by college coaches and cant wait for the chance to heighten my game. Of course academics hold a special place in my heart, but they will never be as enjoyable to me as athletics.  Even so, I work hard to keep my GPA above a 4.0 while playing as hard as I can on the field. I never lose motivation or determination and always have a positive attitude towards my team and  the others on the field.
