Ella Widner '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi!! I’m Ella, and a rising junior at St James High School in Murrells Inlet, SC.  I’ve been playing lacrosse at the high school level  since 7th grade, and this will be my 2nd year as a varsity starter.  I also play travel in summer and fall. 

If I’m being completely honest, I’ve just begun to be interested in playing after high school.  I love being a part of a team, and although I love winning,  I play to have FUN first and foremost.  I feel like I’m a team player. I am more proud of my assists than my goals. 

I’m not a “straight A” student, and may not fit the mold academically,  but I’m a hard worker, both in the classroom and on the field, and don’t mind a challenge!
