Emma Baltz '19 Recruiting Profile

Hey! I'm Emma Baltz from Memphis, Tennessee. I have always been athletic. I played soccer for 10 years, volleyball for 2 years, and then finally I found my way to lacrosse. I can play all positions, but I love midfield or attack and taking the draws. Lacrosse is one of my passions. I love the speed of the game, the plays, the competition. It's the type of game that continually challenges and rewards me. When I found lacrosse, instantly my team became my family. Even teams from other cities and schools, despite the intense competition, are all so fun and welcoming. This sport requires players who work hard, play hard, and continually strive to be better as an individual and as a team. I knew lacrosse was something I needed to pursue, because I am driven, competitive, and passionate. I always look forward to practices and games and love to share that excitement with the rest of the team.

I am looking for colleges that not only have lacrosse, but also offer a major in Film Studies. I am completely open to attending a college anywhere in the country, as I love to travel and learning and becoming part of a new community. I have worked hard on and off, the field, as Academics are very important to me. I look forward to finding a college that can help facilitate both my lacrosse and academic passions.
