Fiona Tanis '23 Recruiting Profile

I completely fell in love with lacrosse after playing soccer for many years.  I continue to spend a lot of my time and energy improving.  My size and speed are natural assets, but my ability to be coached and constantly enhance my game is my secret weapon.  I am a natural righty, but I have worked so hard on my left that I often prefer shooting left-handed. I have learned so much over the years and I am looking forward to the rest of my high school career and then my college career.

I am currently a rising Junior at St.Micheals Catholic Academy. I am a three-sport varsity athlete (Lacrosse, Cross Country, and Track). Ultimately these other sports help with my speed and endurance on the field.  I spend a lot of my free time learning both academically and athletically. Throughout 9th and 10th grade I took all pre-AP core classes and maintained a 4.11/4.0 GPA.  I am active with my church and I volunteer often in my community. This winter I will be in Costa Rica on a mission trip.
