Something that makes me a good candidate is the fact that I enjoy trying new skills and I am not afraid to make mistakes because it’s one of the most efficient ways to learn. I’m very ambitious and positive and extremely passionate about lacrosse. Although I am fairly new to the game I’m willing to put in the work it takes to get to the next level in order to continue playing throughout college. One example of my dedication was through the summer program I created for myself while playing for Utah elevate. Every day of the summer and into the fall I practiced techniques or wall ball for at least 15 minutes per day to improve my foundational skills. Although many of my teammates as well as other recruits hate to condition, it is one of my favorite parts of lacrosse. I love to run and I love to get stronger and see all the different ways it can benefit me and my game. What sets me apart academically is my resilience. Although I had some struggles throughout high school with math, I kept working and finally am able to succeed. I also enjoy taking difficult classes and challenging myself academically. Overall I would consider myself out of the ordinary as a student athlete and cant wait to see all the progress to come in the future.
