Mackenzie Searle '24 Recruiting Profile

I am an oldest child/big sister, junior year high school student, varsity athlete, and bagel slinger at Einstein's Bagels, who works hard at everything I do. An example of this is Math, it has always been a difficult subject for me, so I signed up for and attended math tutoring for 18-months to learn the concepts and skills I needed to raise my grade and improve my academics going forward. I have also taken 5-years of French and will be graduating with a bilingual seal on my diploma. I am currently varsity assistant captain and received athlete of the month at my high school, for my performance in academics and athletics. I enjoy trying new things and pushing myself out of my comfort zone on and off the field. I am interested in environmental studies, specifically environmental sustainability, hoping to work on projects that help reduce climate change and the impact on our planet. A main goal of mine is to volunteer as a wildlife firefighter during the fire season. I am an outgoing, positive person and love making new friends, which is why I enjoy working together on a team and the comradery that comes with getting to know my teammates.
