Kenzi Winget '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing lacrosse my freshman year, much later than most of my teammates and opponents. Lacrosse came naturally to me, but I still give my 110% effort at all times on and off the field. I put in the work at practice and at home and it shows on the field. My skills improved quickly with my stats growing exponentially season to season. I work hard to be the best player I can be not only for myself but also my team.

My Sophomore year I had the second most ground balls on the team (34) as well as being team captain

Junior year (which was cut short due to Covid) I was Top 10 in the state in every stat except for goals which I was Top 15. We were only able to play 3 games but I planned on being Top 5 in every stat by the end of the year! I was even responsible for 5/8 points in our final game against the 3rd best team in the state (3 goals, 2 assists). On top of this, I am also team captain. 

I maintain  a 3.8 GPA while taking honors and concurrent enrollment classes, I intend to major in political science and minor in Spanish.
