Personal Statement
I started playing lacrosse in seventh grade when I was 13 years old because my friend said it would be fun and she didn't want to ride the bus alone. Since then, I've completely fallen in love with the game and look forward to every season I get to play. I want to continue to look forward to each season, and play in college to continue this feeling for another few years.
I have great stick skills with both hands, and managed to be my team's top scorer in the last 2022 season with 29 goals. I see the field well and anticipate plays before they happen. I am a leader in all aspects of life in the classroom and on the field. I am my schools 2023 class president and I am team captain for my varsity soccer team at Vergennes this season. I try to lead by example and maintain a positive and composed mindset and attitude. I am very coachable and take all advice into my gameplay as I want to improve as a player as much as possible.
In school, I study hard to maintain a high GPA and strive to be on the high honor roll. I am a part of our schools National Honor Society as well as run our student government for our grade and participate in the school-wide student gov.
My goal is to attend a college that pushes me to do my best in academics and on the field, and ultimately I hope to find the best college to suit me at the highest level possible.
