Ever since I picked up my first lacrosse stick in gym class, I knew I had to play the sport. Little did I know that my appreciation and dedication to the sport would grow to what it is today. Playing lacrosse motivates me to do better in the classroom and gives me the confidence to excel in anything new I try. I am always willing to work hard to improve my game, and do not get easily demotivated by failure, but use everything as a learning experience. I know that I have the ability to play lacrosse in college and contribute to a future teams success. Not only am I a team player, I am a leader who leads by action, willing to put in the extra work necessary on the field and in the classroom. I am extremely coachable and competitive in nature. I have put in work off the field in the classroom by maintaining a 3.6 GPA, volunteering with younger students at a STEM outreach program, as well as holding the position of Vice President in my school's UNICEF club. I know that playing collegiate level lacrosse is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I am looking forward to be a part of a program that will fit my academic and athletic goals.
