I didn’t plan on being a lacrosse goalie when I tried out for my first lacrosse club team, but when no one else would I stepped up and took on the challenge. I’m very glad I did because being a goalie is an exciting position where things are always changing and I always have to adapt to new types of attack players. As a lacrosse player, I am a leader on and off the field. On the field, I am a loud goalie constantly communicating about the game and encouraging my team. Through lacrosse I have found that I really enjoy helping new players learn the game along side of babysitting that I do, I realized that my passion is in child care and teaching. I plan to major in elementary education. For my senior year of High School I am taking year one and two of Teachers for Tomorrow which are DE classes with the local community college.
