Mackenzie Schaeffer '20 Recruiting Profile

My current goal is to play lacrosse during my undergraduate years. I plan to obtain a BSN in Nursing and continue on to specialize in Anesthesiology. 

I believe in team over individual.  Lacrosse is about working together to achieve a common goal. I cannot do it alone and neither can my teammates. My current focus is on team development.  I will do whatever I can to assist them in achieving both their own, and our collective, goals.  I feel the biggest compliment I have received from coaches is that I am very "coachable". 

I strive each semester to take more challenging classes. I may not always be the best but I will never stop pushing myself to try and be better.  I enjoy learning new material, concepts and ideas.  I feel I excel when I am challenged.
