While I’m not in school I enjoy doing extracurricular activities because it allows me to get involved with different things and share an experience with new people. By far, my favorite activity to do is tutoring children. While I’m not in school, I enjoy helping younger kids by tutoring them. Tutoring younger kids is my passion because it allows me to teach and influence kids as they grow up. One of the children I tutor is Kamari. He is a very nice kid, but math is his worst nightmare. When I am at his daycare, I help Kamari every chance that I get because I want him to improve as a student. If he does not fully understand his homework after I assisted him with it, I stay with him until he fully grasps the topic he is learning. Now, whenever Kamari has a problem with his homework, or anything else, he doesn’t hesitate to ask for help.

My desire for tutoring has also impacted in my desire to become a Dentist.  All my life I always knew I wanted to become a Dentist, but I never knew why. Recently I figured out that I want to become a Dentist because I have a strong desire in helping and teaching people new things about the world of oral hygiene, which will in turn help them in the prevention against oral diseases. As for my future plans in dentistry, my vision is to open my own Pediatric Dental Clinic because I love being around kids so much. I will be a dedicated dentist and have my clinic open seven days a week, and make it an “inviting” environment for children. I would like to make the Dentist number one on a child’s list of places they would like to go, right after school, of course.
