Heather Krebs '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm a passionate rower! Im 6ft 2, driven, competitive, determined and a reliable team member. I highly value and enjoy being part of my high school crew team and enjoy motivating and helping the younger novice rowers. I rowed stroke seat all year as a novice freshman and was a mainstay in the engine of our Varsity 8 boat in my sophomore year. I am again stroke in my Junior year in the Girls Varsity 8 boat. I can row both port and starboard. I've been in the First Varsity girls boat since the start of my sophomore year at high school.

I'm an all honors student taking a number of AP and college level classes at Avon High School, CT. I'm keen to pursue an undergraduate degree in biological sciences or kinesiology and continue rowing at the college level.

I have been rowing for 3 years at high school and before that was a swimmer at the club team level since age 7. As a swimmer I particularly enjoyed and focused on long-distance and Open Water lake swimming which has helped me excel in stamina and pacing in rowing. Swimming helped me grow into a strong rower and rowing is turning me into a strong disciplined athlete.
