I have been doing sports my entire life and I always wanted to participate in college but I didn't think I could until I started rowing. I always like to be fully committed to something and putting as much time I can into it so I can progressively get better. I believe that there can always be more to learn and more to improve upon no matter how long you have been doing something or how good you are. During my first season of winter training I felt that I found my athletic drive, every practice I pushed myself as hard as I could and I always wanted more. I found myself going too hard too soon during erg pieces but instead of bringing my split down I tried to hold it there as long as possible. I have always been in good shape but the more I push myself I can feel the differences. I am honestly, head over heels in love with rowing and bettering myself as a person and as an athlete. I hope to continue to do what I love for as long as possible.
