Update: I am small but I am mighty. I work hard for my team and put the time and effort in. Please note that I can also coxswain the boat so my diversity could be a great fit for your team.
I consider myself a hybrid! Many times students focus either on their love of the arts or their athletic ambitions. I choose both. When I am off crew season my thespian side surfaces and I will take on a roll in our school play. I have learned to balance both sides while excelling academically. When I am not erging or running lines, I serve as the Treasurer to the Computer Club. My future goal is to study computer engineering and potentially focus on cyber security. I pride myself on being a great team player. While focusing on the task at hand, I always strive to lend a helping hand to my teammate when needed. I have taken my love of this sport and desire to help others to the next level and I have begun to coach young rising rowers for the past two years, during the summer. In my limited off time, I work a part time job for a party event planning company. You may see me interacting with the birthday child as his/her favorite character or creating balloon art at an area festival. I have the strong desire to achieve, a unique diverse background, and the all important "coachable" factor that would make me a great fit for your team and academic institution.
