Hi my name is Sophia Nunez i am currently a sophomore in high school. Besides rowing I am a two year varsity basketball player that was apart of a State championship winning team. I’ve recently have came to the decision rowing has my heart and for the rest of my high school career i am committed to rowing year round to get to the collegiate level. As a dedicated athlete with a hardworking academic background, my collegiate goals are to excel both on the water and in the classroom. I aspire to contribute to a competitive team while pursuing a degree that challenges me intellectually. My commitment to teamwork, resilience in the face of challenges, and a strong work ethic set me apart from other recruits.
