Ava Lane '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I´m Ava Lane and I am a junior at Montclair High School. This is my fourth year of rowing. I started in 8th grade as I was looking for some physical activity to do after quitting dance. Making the decision to join the rowing team has positively impacted my life immensely. I have learned perseverance, resiliency, and acceptance. Rowing has taught me that work ethic matters, and that if you train, you will see results. Thanks to the rowing team I have met some of the most dedicated and hard-working people, as well as my best friends. Every piece is treated as a serious piece for me, and that mentality can be attributed to all the training I have done, and will continue to do on Montclair Rowing and going forward.
