Obrieann Gniech '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Obrieann Gniech, I'm 16 years old and I was born and raised in Oklahoma. Currently I am a team member of the Tulsa Youth Rowing Association. I've been involved with rowing since I was in 6th grade, joined competitive in 8th grade and joined the varsity team in 9th grade. During my first year as a varsity member, I took on the role of team captain of both our novice and varsity competitive teams. This role gave me opportunities to imply and improve my leadership and communication skills. I believe that not only would I be an astonishing asset to your  team but, I am different from other candidates because of my determination, drive and skill along with being able persevere past the average rower and student.
