Hello! I'm Rachel, and I believe in the power of dedication and teamwork with the intent to give your all in every way to lift others up! In both crew and my community, I strive to be consistently present and always put my heart into my work, whether it's doing the workouts alongside my boatmates during conditioning, racing toward the finish line in the final stretch of a race, or simply serving my community through volunteer work outside of school and practice. As a coxswain, I have a solid understanding of the technical stroke and a thorough understanding of drills and workouts because I have rowing experience and erg with the rowers during indoor winter practices, so I understand what my rowers are feeling on the water or an erg after a difficult piece. My post-high school aspirations are to continue following these beliefs while following my heart to continue coxing a boat and pursuing team research on illnesses. I hope to continue cultivating my passions with the people who share similar goals around me while we work towards improvement within ourselves, our team, and our community!
