Personal Statement

I am a good student who loves to learn, both in the classroom and on the water. Throughout my four seasons of rowing I have developed a passion for the sport and my team. Throughout the fall and spring seasons I have attended local regattas in the Hampton Roads area, as well as Mid-Atlantic Youth Regionals and the Youth National Championships in my team's varsity women's lightweight 8+. I am a hard worker, and am always looking to improve my technique both in the boat water and on the erg.
