Personal Statement

Being a student-athlete is what motivates me to keep pushing and reaching my goals. I enjoy working with others and teams, overall creating a good relationship between everyone on the boat whereas like a second family. Which is one of the main reasons I was drawn to coxswaining. The competition is important in athletics, but what makes it so more meaningful is the bond between teammates and being able to use my charismatic and unique leadership skills. Staying organized and staying focused helps me academically to continue being a student-athlete hopefully to pursue my interest such as becoming a nurse or athletic trainer. In my past time, I enjoy being around friends/family and going on adventures outdoors like hiking, camping, and swimming.
