I started rowing at the begining of my Sophomore year in high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. Coming from being a competitive swimmer, I have always loved racing and the competition, but rowing has offered me a team camaraderie that I never could have imagined. This past season I have rowed in stroke seat and found that it is a great way to take a leadership position and form stronger relationships with all my teammates.
On a more academic not I am a student at the International Community School in Kirkland. A school focused on a global perspective that has given me the opportunity to take honors courses throughout my high school career.
My goal this season is to improve my erg scores and stroke the first novice boat at regionals. In college I want to study pre-law and later go on to law school.
