Samantha Pollard '22 Recruiting Profile

In college I plan on majoring in political science, before pursuing a law degree. I am currently attending the International Community School in Kirkland, WA. There I have found that I am most passionate about subjects such as History and Humanities. I have been able to expand my learning and excel in school, as I currently have a GPA of 3.95. I like to challenge myself by taking AP and honors classes.

On the soccer field my main position is center back. I have played soccer for twelve years and have been on a club team for 6 of those years. I play on Crossfire select and am captain of my team. I am vocal while on the field and aim to lead my teammates through not only my voice, but my actions as well. While being a member of my select team, we have been able to win titles in 5 different tournaments. I have always thought of myself as a leader while I am on the field, and I feel very privileged to have found such an amazing sport that encourages my competitive nature. I aspire to play soccer at a collegiate level, and continue to play the game I love.
