Alexandra(Sasha) ...Hi,I'm Alexandra (Sasha) Schuman. I got adopted from Russia at the age of 4. The moment moved to the United States and got to touch a soccer ball for the first time. Instantly I fell in love. I began to play soccer on an actual team at age 5. Every time I stepped out onto the soccer field I still have that passion for Soccer that has never gone away. I play on Ak Rush 2005 girls team. Our team has had its ups and downs. I myself have had my ups and down. Who said soccer was going to be easy? Certainly not me. But over the past recent years I have learned more about leadership, motivation, dedication to this sport I love. Not only has soccer been a big part of my life so has my eduction. Being homeschooled gives me the open door to new experiences. Having the chance to get hands on be involved. One of the main things I have learned is how to work with everyone in my classes. Everybody has their different ways of learning. Its ten times more amazing if you know to work with everybody. Become a team. Those are important lessons for college sports teams and future jobs. Not many people understand what Failure does to you as a person. Everybody thinks that when you fail you fail. But Failure actually teaches you how to grow. My Coaches, my parents and even my friend helped me understand how important Failure is.
