As I reflect on my soccer career (since 4 years old) to answer what makes me different, is this. I have never quit. I have been on teams that were undefeated and others that lost many, many games. I have played against teams that we dominated and others that dominated us. I have learned that both experiences are a part of the game and will make you a better competitor and teammate. In the event of a horrible game or even season, I have never stopped wanting to play the next game, the next season. I absolutely love playing soccer and being a part of a team. Every time I take the field, whether it be at practice or a conference championship game, I give it my all and hold nothing back. There is no better feeling than when a team comes together and plays to the best of their ability. Even if they lose!
My goals and aspirations are to continue my education at a college I can continue to play the game I love so much. I have a lot of work ahead of me to make this happen and I am ready to do so. I am working toward improving my skills as a player and in academics, the ACT especially, with ACT Bootcamps and study sessions with classmates. My score is not where I want it to be and should be with my GPA. But I believe in myself and will do what it takes to improve it.
Thank you, for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to the next chapter of my life in college.
