Camillia Nwokedi '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile.  My name is Camillia Ifeoma Nwokedi.  I was born and raised in Southern California and have been playing competitive soccer since age six.  I am currently completing my junior year at Notre Dame High School, in Sherman Oaks, California, where I play on the Varsity Soccer Team.  I am dedicated, hard-working, and passionate about soccer, a game that has become more than just a sport for me. 

Over the years, I have played Forward, Attacking Center Midfield, Outside Midfield, and Center and Outside Defensive back. I am extremely versatile and can adapt to any position. I currently play on the ECNL Real So Cal Soccer Club Team. Off of the field, I am involved in various school activities such as: Associated Student Body (ASB), Interact Club of the Valley, Immersion-To-Go, and serve as an Ambassador for my school. My current cumulative GPA is 3.9 while studying Honors as well as Advanced Placement courses.  I have been a member of California Scholarship Federation every semester since my sophomore year, and I am a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. 

Whether in academics or athletics, I challenge myself to excellence and strive to give 110% ALL of the time. I am willing to compete with anyone on the field and in the classroom. I am ambitious, driven and committed to becoming an outstanding student / athlete and well-balanced individual.  I am interested in developing my soccer skills at a university that is both competitive, athletically and academically.  I am also interested in a college that provides an opportunity for me to achieve a four-year degree; offers a variety of social interactive experiences, and that will help me pursue great success in future career opportunities.
