Mireya Gómez '25 Recruiting Profile

I am from Santa Cruz, California, and have been playing soccer since I was 8. Being so passionate about soccer at a young age, led me to join my current club team, which we have developed and won as a team. Other than soccer I enjoy working out, the beach and bonding with classmates and friends. 

I would love to continue and grow as an athlete and to be able to play college soccer. I bring fun, and competitiveness and am an uplifting teammate to the others around me. I put all my effort into every drill and play of the game. I love making new teammates and can easily bond with others. When there ever is a time to be a leader, I can lead the team with warm-ups and motivation and whatever they need.  I am a very coachable and reliable player who gives it my all.

I like to take challenging classes every year and would like to pursue my passion for marine biology or study business. I have been one class ahead in Math and Spanish and hope to receive my Seal of Biliteracy to be able to use my language skills outside of school. I want to receive a great education so I can utilize it for my future accomplishments.
