Madeline Gomes '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madeline Gomes and I'm a hardworking soccer player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport and I have been playing for 13 years now. I'm an athlete who knows the game of soccer. Iv'e been voted captain for 5 years on two different club teams. I played on the Junior Varsity team my freshman and sophomore year or high school and was a swinging player my junior year.  Knowing that I am capable of playing soccer and feel like I have a strong IQ of the game itself, makes me passionate to play the game. I offer leadership that pushes my team and I am always working hard to win and grow to become a better player. 

With choosing what school I would like to go to, I would rather stay in state in Colorado, but I am open to going to states of the West Coast mainly, like Arizona, California, and Oregon as some examples. Smaller schools are the main schools I've been looking at but I'm open to anything. I want a school with good education and I also want to be able to play soccer. My top two choices for a major is either Sports Management  or Sports Law in relation of becoming an agent. 

As an athlete, my goal is playing at the higher level, while also making an impact of the team to help us win. I am open to most divisions, but I feel I would be best fit in DI or DII. I will also consider high academic DIII opportunities if possible.
