I have been playing soccer since I was four years old, and it has been a true passion of mine. Through soccer I have learned the value of teamwork, leadership, and building lasting friendships. During my freshman year, I played as a right defender for East High School's varsity and JV soccer team in Denver, Colorado. Although our season was shortened due to Covid, I loved every moment on the field with my teammates.
My sophomore year, I continued playing varsity soccer at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver.
While the pandemic made it challenging to continue soccer, I remained committed to developing my skills both on and off the field. Even though I am not currently on a team, I continue training on my own while also maintaining a 3.5 GPA.
As a sophomore in high school, I am still exploring my future career interests, with biochemistry being my main interest and excited about. I am open to new opportunities and eager to grow through new experiences. In my athletic environment I am looking for a school with a strong support community. I believe this environment will allow me to make a positive impact while also building meaningful connections, allowing me to push both myself and my teammates to reach our highest potentials.
