Lauren Holliday '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’8”, 135 lbs. (other stats TBD at HS try-outs) powerful forward or mid-fielder from Fort Collins, Colorado. I play for Rapids Fort Collins (formerly Storm).  My team won the 2018 Colorado Rapids Classic CSA tournament and placed first in our Colorado Champions League (18/19) this past fall. I have also played for the (CO) ODP team for the past two years. I will try out for my high school team in late February 2019. In my school district, I’m in the Gifted and Talented Program for Creativity.  I have a 3.2 GPA and have not yet taken the ACT or the SAT. I participate in the National Honors Art Society. I want to go to a college that has a strong women’s soccer program and offers STEM related majors. Right now, my strengths/career interests are pointing toward the sciences or technology related jobs, including graphic design, game design and development, industrial design, animation, or journalism.  I am a creative thinker and artist. For soccer I want to be on a team that values teamwork, instead of being in competition with each other. I really enjoy playing soccer and it lightens my mood to play. I am a flexible player that is willing to play any position. I have gained respect on and off the field from my teammates. I treat others the way I want to be treated. I would like to play at the highest possible level in college and hopefully beyond.
