Devyn Schaefer '21 Recruiting Profile

I  have been playing soccer since I  was 4 years old and it has always been a dream of mine to play in college. However, I  am extremely academically minded and tended to focus on my academics. I  want to attend a college where I  can not only participate in soccer, but also receive a strong education that will help me in all my future plans. I  want to go into the medical field, whether as a researcher or physician, and it is extremely important to me that I  get there, however I  want to enjoy every step of the way. Soccer has always been an important outlet for me and a crucial escape from my school work. I  want to play in college because I  know that I  can be an asset to the team, physically and academically.
