Kacee Schmidt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kacee Schmidt and growing up, I was always the smallest kid on the field.  But I was athletic, strong, fast and versatile. I brought those qualities into every sport I played from soccer to basketball to lacrosse.  I played "big" and matched up well to any player of any size.  I'm now an assertive player who can challenge 1 on 1, recover quickly and attack forward with a swift change of pace.  

I'm also an only child.  I consider each of my teams my sisters.  I work with them to be the best player and best teammate on the field.  I'm also a leader and have already been named a senior co-captain on my high school team for Fall of 2023. 

My dream is to play soccer in college. I'm most interested in a small liberal arts school that can provide a good education alongside a positive team environment.  It would be a privilege playing at the next level and I look forward to connecting with coaches across divisions.
