Nina Pizzicarola '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Nina Pizzicarola, and soccer has been my love and passion for as long as I can remember. I always feel the most comfortable with a ball at my feet. I take pride in my school work above everything, and once I put my mind to something, I will be sure to get it done. I am coachable and love feedback. Soccer has brought me close to people that have shaped my journey and has allowed me to grow more than anything else. One summer day at practice, I witnessed my best friend go into cardiac arrest before my very eyes. One second she was playing the sport she loved, and the next others were not even sure if she would see another day. This changed me to never take any moment for granted. It has humbled me and made me grateful for every opportunity I get to lace up my cleats. I hope that I can bring this mindset with me on the team that comes next in my journey.
