My name is Sydney Cuticelli and I am a Junior at Mark T. Sheehan High School. I play for Ginga FC, my high school's girls soccer team as well as the town team for Wallingford. I have loved playing this sport from the moment I started young, but I feel I have grown to appreciate it more with the pandemic. After our season had to be put on pause, I realized how much I missed playing and being on the field, working with my teammates. I feel teamwork is one of the most important aspects to be successful in soccer; however, I am always looking for opportunities to be a better player individually, and for my team. I strive to work to my fullest potential both on and off the field and focus as equally hard on my soccer skills as my academics. Throughout my entire educational career as a student, I have pushed myself to be successful in the classroom which led me to many high academic achievements. At this time, I am looking for a college that will offer a challenge to me academically along with on the field as I feel these will help prepare me for my future, and I feel I will be a strong asset to your school.
