Personal Statement
At 4 years old, my parents signed me up for soccer. I have been hooked ever since. I love the competition and the friendships I have found through it. Playing soccer has taught many things; perseverance, teamwork, work ethic, leadership, failure, and success are a few. I've been on teams that didn't win a single game, and I've held the State Championship Trophy for my school and the State Cup Trophy for my club.
As your player, you can expect me to be extremely coach-able, self-motivated, and a team player. As an undersized player, I have to work extra hard to improve the things that make me effective. What I lack in size, I make up for in technical skill, effort, and good decision making. I am a possession player. I would rather keep the ball for my team than give it away foolishly. I am fiercely loyal and a great teammate.
My goal is to find a university where I can contribute to the soccer team while pursuing an education in the field of Sports Medicine or Veterinary Medicine.
September 2018 - My love of soccer has led me to coach a 3rd-5th grade coed recreational team as a community service project. It's a big challenge, and I think I'm learning as much from these kids as they are learning from me!
